"We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day..."  (John 9:4)

To my praying friends:

I finished up Leadership Training Camp at the beginning of June and headed back to Immanuel Mission to get ready for the Mission Teams that would be coming to work and minister in the Sweetwater area.  Groups from Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, and North Carolina have come so far.

During the first week back I helped upgrade the Mission office bookkeeping computer, which wasn't really needed since it ran pretty go.... Ok, ok, Ruth Bloom tells me that it was really needed.  Then I wrote a program to do the 8 hour job each month of doing the phone bills for the mission staff.  It now takes about 10 to 15 minutes to do it.

We cleaned out the new house to prepare for the first group to finish mudding then prime the walls.  Over the course of the first three Mission Teams the new house was mudded, textured, primed, painted, and even mostly tiled.  On the outside of the house stucco was also applied.

We also finish clearing the school storage area for the new computer lab to be built.  The first group framed it and did the electrical.  The second group did the sheetrock and hung the doors.  And the third group mudded and sanded it.  It is looking nice and on track to be completed for use this fall.

Here are several other projects that were done. A new shed was built in the Bloom's yard for garden tools and storage--all but the tin roof is completed on it.  The stairs up to Anne Denny's house was repainted.  Much of the Nininger's old house was repainted, one room has new tile, the front door restored, and new lighting added to the kitchen.  A trench was dug to network a computer in Greg Staley's study.  A railing was built for the stairs up to the game room and the stairs were tiled.  A trailer at the Nez home was painted and skirting was built around the base.  A shade house was repainted at Sami Benally's.  A fence was built at Sally's.  A roof was put on another house in the community.  So much was done so I think I have forgotten some things.

Every week the groups did multiple VBS programs throughout the community.  Pray for the seed planted and watered that there would be a harvest soon.  I went with to for several of the evenings over the weeks and I think the groups enjoyed ministering and the Word of God was well received.  Pray for conviction and decision.

In Christ Alone,

Andrew Nelson
